Two of Monmouthshire’s libraries are to host outlets for the sale of festive charity cards. The Cards for Good Causes shops are reopening soon in Chepstow and Monmouth Libraries and they look forward to welcoming back their loyal customers, as well as meeting new ones.
The Chepstow & Monmouth shops are part of the UK’s largest multi-charity Christmas card organisation and they offer cards from 30 different charities, along with cards in Welsh, gift wrap, tags, advent calendars and small gifts.
The Chepstow shop will be located in the newly refurbished library near the coffee machine and will open for trading from Tuesday 6th November. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday while on Wednesday and Saturday business hours are 10am to 1pm. The shop will operate until Tuesday 4th December.
The Monmouth shop will be situated in the library’s Community Room from Thursday 1st November. Opening hours are 10am to 5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. In addition, visitors to the library and weekend shoppers can call in on Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm. The Monmouth shop is open until Saturday 15th December.
