Caldicot Library has been using Twitter for a month and there is no doubt that there has been plenty to tweet about in July. We visited six school assemblies to talk about Circus Stars, the national Summer Reading Challenge.  One Saturday morning the library was filled with laughter as The Booster Cushion Theatre presented Little Red Riding Hood and Friends.

We have had lots of smiley babies at our Baby Rhyme Times and toddlers have enthusiastically joined in the Under Fives story time sessions.  At the other end of the age range, our new First Click class are getting to grips with the Internet for the first time.  We have offered job seeker sessions, held two reading group sessions, celebrated the end of this year’s Intergenerational Reading Group, Bluebelle Nursery came in for a story time …

We have also tweeted about World Book Night 2012, the Man Booker Prize 2011, and tweeted links to book reviews on our blog

We have been retweeted by Monmouthshire CFIS, and retweeted several times by Monmouthshire County Council.  Our stories have also appeared in the Monmouthshire Weekly online newspaper.
